Ƶsecondary art education senior showcases work exploring peace in creation
Nicole Rayhons, Ƶ art education major from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, will have a senior art exhibit on display in the Campus Center Art Gallery through February 20.
Award-winning singer-songwriter and author Andrew Peterson will perform a free concert at Ƶ on February 3, offering students and community members an evening of music and storytelling.
Ƶ is pleased to host singer-songwriter and author Andrew Peterson for a free concert on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 7–8:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the Ƶ campus. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
Seating is first-come, first-served; no reservations are required. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Known for his poetic and heartfelt songwriting, Andrew Peterson has built a following over more than two decades as a recording artist, touring performer, and storyteller. His music blends folk, roots, and Christian influences, and he is widely recognized for songs such as “Is He Worthy,” “Be Kind to Yourself,” and “Dancing in the Minefields.” Peterson has also received multiple critics’ nods for “Best Album of the Year” and has earned several Dove Award nominations.
In addition to his musical achievements, Peterson is the award-winning author of the Wingfeather Saga, a beloved fantasy book series that has sold more than a million copies and is now being developed into an animated series. He is also the founder and president of The Rabbit Room, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating Christ-centered community through music, art, and storytelling.
The concert will take place in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on Dordt’s campus. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early as seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Nikolas “Niko” Begalke, a 22-year-old Ƶ student from Germany, passed away in a skiing accident on January 3 in Austria. He is remembered as a kind, thoughtful student-athlete with "a curious mind and a caring heart."
