“On the basketball court Karly Gustafson finished her career this spring with ��͹��Ƶ’s women’s basketball team as a national champion and became Dordt’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder. As a Defender, she was also named NAIA All-American for the second time. Because of her work off the court, the Ethan, SD, native received warm hugs and greetings from some of her biggest fans during an April 9 gathering at Crown Pointe Estates in Sioux Center.”

The undergraduate commencement ceremony will take place on Friday, May 10 at 9:30 a.m. with the graduate commencement and hooding ceremony will be held on the same day at 2 p.m., both ceremonies will take place in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.”

• National Championship for ��͹��Ƶ Women’s Basketball ()

“��͹��Ƶ women’s basketball team won its first National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national championship March 26, defeating the University of Providence’s Argos 57-53. Dordt, in Sioux Center, Iowa, is one of six educational institutions denominationally related to the Christian Reformed Church.”

“Stacker compiled a list of the best private colleges in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, using data from Niche released in 2024. Niche ranks schools based on a variety of factors including academics, value for money, professors, campus, and diversity.”

• ��͹��Ƶ breaks ground on expansion project ()

“After seeing growth in campus attendance, one northwest Iowa college is expanding its dining facilities. ��͹��Ƶ has begun work on expanding its dining commons and B.J. Haan Auditorium. Construction fencing was added between the center and auditorium earlier this month. It created an area for initial utilities work to start.”
