
Presidential Politics Conference of Iowa to take place October 24 to 26
°¼Í¹ÊÓÆµ and the Andreas Center to host conference on executive leadership for the common good
Art celebration to be held in Dordt's 20-acre prairie
°¼Í¹ÊÓÆµ will host the Arts in the Prairie celebration on Saturday, September 28, kicking of the event at 3 p.m. on the new Theatre Building patio, with prairie events running until 4:30 p.m. in Dordt’s 20-acre prairie.
The °¼Í¹ÊÓÆµprairie is home to90 different species of grasses and wildflowers, red-winged blackbirds, and a number of small animals. Arts in the Prairie will feature a prairie walk, student musicians performing throughout the °¼Í¹ÊÓÆµprairie, chalk art drawing, face painting, prairie passport books for kids, an art talk on prairie photography, and an opportunity for a family portrait in the prairie. Visitors may come and go throughout the event. Arts in the Prairie is a collaboration of the °¼Í¹ÊÓÆµ music, theatre, visual art, environmental studies, and biology departments.
