On October 9, °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ hosted 102 high school students from 11 schools for the 2025 °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Math Challenge, an annual event that gives students the opportunity to test their mathematical skills through individual and team competitions, connect with °¼Í¹ÊÓƵfaculty, and explore career opportunities in math and related fields.
Students first participated in an individual exam, followed by a team exam. Participants also heard a presentation from Dordt’s admissions team and attended afternoon breakout sessions led by °¼Í¹ÊÓƵmathematics faculty and admissions staff. Session topics ranged from creative problem-solving and mathematical applications to hands-on learning experiences designed to show how mathematics connects to real-world challenges.
