͹Ƶ to Hold a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for ͹ƵStudents

͹Ƶpartners with Sioux Center Health to host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for students

͹Ƶ is partnering with Sioux Center Health and the Iowa Governor’s Office to provide an on-campus Covid-19 vaccine clinic specifically for ͹Ƶstudents sometime during the week of April 5.

“We are receiving a small allocation of vaccines, which we plan to provide to ͹Ƶstudents next week,” says Robert Taylor, vice president for student success. “We are grateful for the opportunity to provide our students who would like to be vaccinated with easy access to the Covid-19 vaccine through an on-campus vaccine clinic.”

͹Ƶalso encourages students to consult with their parents, medical health professionals, and other trusted sources when determining which Covid-19 vaccination to consider and when it might be best to get the vaccine.

“Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Governor Reynolds and her team have been a terrific support to us, helping provide testing and also with her steady leadership and clear communication. We are grateful now to work with them to have a vaccine clinic available to students on campus next week. This is a huge step toward keeping our students safe through the rest of the semester and into the summer,” says Dr. Erik Hoekstra, president of Dordt.

As an institution of higher education committed to the Reformed Christian perspective, ͹Ƶ equips students, faculty, alumni, and the broader community to work toward Christ-centered renewal in all aspects of contemporary life.
